Refund Policy

At Goodie Catering, we are committed to providing high-quality catering services and ensuring customer satisfaction. This refund policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding refunds and returns in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines.

1. Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

2. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

3. Refunds for Catering Services

If there is a problem with your catering order, please contact us immediately. We may offer a refund, replacement, or re-supply of services in the following situations:

  • The catering service is not delivered on the agreed date and time.
  • The food provided is not as described or is of unacceptable quality.
  • The quantity of food delivered is significantly less than what was ordered.

4. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our customer service team within 24 hours of the delivery or event. Provide your order details, the nature of the problem, and any supporting evidence (e.g., photos). We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

5. Refund Process

Once your refund is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to be credited to your account.

6. Cancellations

If you need to cancel your catering order, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Orders cancelled more than 1 days before the event will receive a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled after 5 pm the day prior to the event are non-refundable.
